I lived with chronic for 4 years before I trusted anyone telling me i needed medication, I was very grandious and thought the government and even my union labor hall was out to get the "information" I thought I knew....I actually believed they were going to kidnap, torture and eventually kill me if I did not tell them "what I knew" I have a lot of sad stories maybe share more later.
what I know now is that I've been stable for ten years went back to work with my union labor hall, I have a girlfriend that gave me a beautiful healthy baby boy 5 months ago.
Thank you for sharing your experiences with medication. i agree with you 100% and really can not understand it when people do not want to take the medication their dr. has recommended them to take. I feel lucky to live in a day and age that we have different medications that can help us live with our illness.
I hope others who read your post can see how beneficial the different medications can help us having to live with any Mental Illness!
