Recently, I was denied Medicaid health insurance, however, I applied for the Bristol-Myers Squibb Patient Assistance Foundation Abilify Patient Assistance Program, and I was approved. My health insurance did not transfer well after I moved from California to Atlanta. The Abilify Patient Assistance Program will provide me with a 90 day supply of medication, but in order to continue the program I will have to attach a denial letter from Medicaid and my attestation form. I am very relieved by the news. Just yesterday, I had to refill my samples of Abilify, but now I know for sure that I am covered for 90 days. In the meantime, I will apply for Medicare.
