I'm a filmmaker. Shortly after I wrapped this film my brother (Mark) was hit and killed by a hit-and-run driver. He was walking on the shoulder of a road, in the rain in Northern California. I hadn't heard or seen Mark in over 5 years. We couldn't find him. My other brother, Jeff, is institutionalized near me. He doesn't know Mark is dead.
