    Hello John30fan,

We have a website for bipolar, www.bipolarconnect.com.  You may want to check it out.

Not sure what you mean by head zaps.

    Regards,

    Chris

Hi, bi-polar can be controled with medicine. It's worth a try.

I'm 43. I have schizo-affective disorder bi-polar type. After 10 years of trial and error and 3 doctors, I'm on Geodon 120mg, Lamictal 400mg and Cymbalta 60mg. I live a "normal", productive life. It's worth it to find what works.

What are "head zaps?"  I have a kind of head zaps sometimes when I am just beginning to fall asleep.  A voice screams at me, saying a word that begins with "z" -- zap, zing, zip -- and it wakes me up with a start.  Scary.  I also "see" the word lit up in neon green in the right side of my head.
