    Hello Carolyn,

     

    You had quite the fight in you to conquer the schizophrenia.  It isn't easy; however, your story is testament to the courage and determination you had to come out of a great hardship.

     

    I believe that a history of abuse could possibly affect a person's developing the illness.  Am grappling with that right now, and will write about it for my second Connection blog this week.
