I recently read a book, The Center Cannot Hold: My Journey Through Madness by Elyn R. Saks (Aug 12, 2008). It is about a very successful woman who had schizophrenia. It turned out she went to Oxford and Yale Law School, then was a professor at UCLA, all while being schizophrenic. Very well written, and gives a great insight into how someone with schizophrenia has it; I would recommend it to anyone.
