Standing in the doorway

The decision is mine

Do I run and hide?

Do I standfast?

I feel alone at times

But you are always there

Encouraging, listening, hearing ME

So much time you offer ME

Always loving and always kind

Always my best interests in mind.

Thank you!

Hope you find support here.Heard your heart-felt cry out. This is a very supportive / non judgemental site for support  and inclusion.... We are all 'touched' here by the reverberations of this uninvited illness on ourselves and/ or our loved ones. There is a great shared sense of living  life as we are best able and making progress/growth even if in it is measured in baby steps...

Best wishes and welcome

also living (in my case as a mother of adult male ) alongside...

Hi Veronica,

Welcome to the Connection!

I'm the community leader and expert blogger here and have worked hear for five years giving encouragement and information and inspiration to the people who come here for support.

Your brother can recover.

Today with the advances in treatments and lifestyles it is possible he will recover.

I urge you to read the SharePosts in my archives and to read the other community members' ongoing SharePosts to get an idea of some of the (yes!) positive experiences we have even though we live diagnosed with SZ.

There is hope so always be hopeful.

Tell your brother you love him and will support him no matter what happens.

As he becomes able, see if he wants to tootle around this web site too.

Have a good day.

Regards,

Christina
