Friday, September 11, 2009 at 10:42 AMThank-you for your kind words, Chris. Yes , the light sensitivity was discovered by a neurologist a few years ago. Last year I was part of a study led by a leading researcher in the field.. It was exciting, and I travelled to the mainland from here about nine or ten times (expenses paid , of course ! ) to be the only patient in the study.
Anyway, when it was over, the neuroscientist was going to write a great big paper about me or something ! England must be nice. I live in Nanaimo. British Columbia, Canada That's on the west coast. A beautiful island. And a resort town.
So I refuse to complain about anything on this site.!
Take care
Don

Friday, September 11, 2009 at 05:25 AMWelcome back Don! It's nice to see you again.
I'm sorry about the "visions." That must be very scary.
I look forward to seeing you around the Connection.
Take care my friend,
Dave

Friday, September 11, 2009 at 10:50 AMThanks Dave, It's good to be back.
I'm keeping it all under control with God's help and more Meds and a very dedicated mental health worker that comes to my home every week.
The visions are frightening , but as I mentioned , I found this break to be pretty easy.
I find as long as I can keep them in the background of my consciousness, it's fine. It's when they're close in that is a problem.
Take it easy,
Don

Friday, September 11, 2009 at 08:43 AMHi Don,
Yes: I do understand what it is like to have a set back by going into the hospital. Understand that it was a temporary pit stop to refuel your mind and get things back on the right pathways. I'm sure you will come out of this not only stronger but a winner in all regards.
You are a champion in my book!
Have a good day.
Regards,
Christina

Welcome back Don, and wishing you good luck and increasing strenghth in your progress after your summer roller coaster. Sorry to hear about that. So many things about this illness we just don't know. Those light triggers must hold some clues.....
I for one had missed your posts recently and shared insights.
Best wishes, Chris,
