Well folks, I'm off to do a couple of speaking engagements soon.   On the 22nd I'll be speaking at a United Way Kick-Off fund-raising event.    There will be about 40 people there (including the mayor) and I will be speaking about my personal struggle with SZA.   ...

Don that's nice of you to help your mom.

Your speaking engagements sound good. I used to speak in public but have since stopped. The leader of the group wasn't a good leader.

I would love to get back at it.

    I will eventually.

Take care. Let us know how the enagagements went.

I'm proud of you for taking on the speaking engagements, especially while taking care of your mom and dad.

I wish someone had come and spoken to my highschool about mental illness.  I started having symptoms at age 10 and was afraid to tell anyone until I was 37.  I think there should be mental health screening beginning in middle school.  There was a school "counselor" but her job was to make sure everyone had enough credits to graduate and teach health class.  Btw, there was no mention of mental health in health class.  It was mostly sex education.
