My Own Stigma

How I feel about living with schizophrenia varies. I am not upset at myself for having the illness and I am not in denial. I am more shocked about the diagnosis because I wish I saw the signs. Infectious disease can be the origin of symptoms of schizophrenia...

I've written elsewhere that my worst "break" -- my Y2K meltdown -- coincided with, was actually caused by I believe, a case of neuro-Lyme disease.
