What is Schizophrenia?
Schizophrenia is a brain disease that interferes with perception, behavior and responsiveness. The word schizophrenia literally means "split brain." Symptoms include psychosis, delusions, and cognitive impairment. Schizophrenia is a serious condition that usually requires medical attention.
