Dear sister Janet, I also am living with schizoaffective and I know how tough it is. I still do not have the right mix and dose of med yet but I fight through. I also work part time and I just got another job part time at 9 per hour. Please contact SSA and get a ticket to work and learn about the protections the ticket will provide. Do that as soon as possible. Also contact your state vocation rehabilitation office. As you know our illness comes and goes without warning as I know it, even with meds and psychotherapy. But with the ticket SSA says you can earn 940 per month. Contact SSA.
