Hi Sara,

I'm sorry your parents are fighting all the time because I know when my parents ahadd loud arguments it affected me greatly and jeopardized my mental health.

Like Dave said, I would if I were you go to to the school guidance counselor to talk about what's going on.

Is the nickname being called out in a dream or in your waking life?  Be clear on this to whoever you talk to about what's going on.

PersonallY i don't think parents should argue in front of their kids however that's just me and some adults feel it's okay to do that.  I don't think it is ever okay to fight in front of your kids.  It can have a lasting impact.

You have the insight into what's going on and you have the support here and you have reached out.

So without delay, talk to your guidance counselor or a trusted adult.

You do not have to go through this alone.

I empathize with you greatly.

Best wishes,

Christina

Sara, Talk to a school counselor or an adult you can trust.
