Victorine:

Only your son's psychiatrist can answer your question, and because our brain chemistry is uniguely our own, even with a highly trained psychiatrist, it can take some time to find the best combination of medications.

Like your son, I experienced experienced the symptom of telepathic transmissions into my mind.  My psychiatrist and I spent ten years trying every new medication as it was introducted before finding the combination of medicines that worked for me.

As I titled my recent blog - "Never, Never, Ever Give Up Hope - Period."

Please let me know how your son's condition progresses.

Peace,

Robin

Hello Victorine,

Robin gave the best advice.  Not all medications work equally well for everyone who takes them, and not everyone has relief of every symptom at all times.  The drug that works best for me may not work well for your son.

If the Olanzapine isn't working, your son needs to work with his doctor to try other medications.  And as Robin said, keep hope alive.  Never, ever give up hope.

Best,

Chris
