Hello neelam shastri,

Talk therapy, where you talk to a therapist one-on-one each week is one kind of therapy.  A kind of therapy used to good result with schizophrenia is cognitive therapy, which works to help patients cope better with their symptoms and illness.  This is a kind of therapy not as commonly available everywhere for people with SZ.  Art therapy, used most often as part of the treatment in a day program, is another kind of therapy.  Indeed, even if you have a hobby like art it can be greatly helpful as a coping technique.

Best regards,

Christina

I am very very thankful to you for the reply.I will seek psychiatrist  advice also.once I asked my doctor for occupational therapy he said it is not needed in my case .It is given to very dull patients.Actually in India doctors don't have time to listen to patients queries ,there is so much of rush everyday and everywhere in Indian hospitals.
