my boy friend is really depressed and but he is diagnosed with paranioa-schzophrenia, and he is drinking and smoking an is keeping his issues balled up inside, his mother wont talk to him about anything and he stays in his room until he has to come out. he vents to me less now and i can barley ask anything without him getting mad or rude. he is on haldol (shot) for the over 15 yrs. what can i do to help him. he wont tell the doctor anythng bsc he wants of the meds bsc he beleives he doesnt need meds. he is dealing with this identy crisises about his so called untrue male friends that has the good jobs, cars, homes etc. and he doesnt. so he has chosen to do the exat opposite of what he beleives in to see if he can receive what they have. please help me so i can hopefully help him.
