Hi Chary Hummel,
Like with the discontinuation of any antipsychotic, whether abruptly olr after being weaned off, you run the risk of becoming psychotic.
Everyone I know who truly has SZ who went off his or her meds, was either hospitalized again, started hearing voices, or could barely function at their previous level.

My brother recently stopped taking his Geodon 60mgs. and he did experience side effects - anxiety and insomnia and overall bad mood.
