Hello asiyer,   You say your daughter is pursuing MMS studies.  Wonderful!.  What are MMS studies?  When you say the meds have eroded her confidence, do knnow that if one drug doesnn't work, her psychiatrist should give it time and when there's been no improvement, the doctor could consider trying every drug out there until you daughter gets relief, as well as any new drug that comes on the market.   Therapy and a support group could also help her cope with her frustrations about symptoms or side effects.   Being diagnosed with SZ erodes a person's confidence, so I want you to read my Profile here and know that it is possible for someone living with SZ to succeed at school, at a job, at life, at relationships.   Everyone needs morale boosting; people with SZ need it even more.  I would suggest you recommend to her that she join the Schizophrenia Connection community and write SharePosts here to get support and feeback.
