I jsut found this post, your story is VERY much like what I am going thru with my mother right now. I was given a chance to sign a "Assumption of health care surrogacy" which allows me to consent to medical treatment as she clearly isn't competant. She also is often non compliant with meds... and only often gets her once monthy injection! I was curious how your sister made out. Julie P. FL
