I can empathize with your daughter.  For years, I was too paranoid to be around people.  I avoided church, parties, even holiday family get-togethers.  And wherever I was I was sure everyone around was watching me.  It made life almost unbearable.   But I will give you hope -- that last year, the paranoia suddenly subsided.  I don't even mind getting up and talking in front of people anymore.  I go to parties, mingle in large groups, joined a poetry society, started doing volunteer work, etc.  I attribute this to being on Zyprexa, which is the only antipyschotic that seems to work for me.  It does have some unwanted side effects like drowsiness and weight gain, but I don't think I could live without it at this point.  If you read my posts, you will see that I have gotten off the meds at times but always regret it and end up back on them.  Right now I take 40mg of Zyrpexa every night, plus 200mg of Zoloft and 300mg of Wellbutrin.  Those 3 keep me stable.   Carolyn
