Hello Pablo 9822,
I'm going to respond in a controversial way. I'm going to tell you that it's possible to hear voices and then stop hearing voices completely. I know someone who heard voices and he told me the voices disappeared on their own after about five months of hearing them. Yet he does have a version of schizophrenia that continued after the voices stopped.
Read the schizophrenia early warning signs because if any of these symptoms linger immediate or early intervention with medication and therapy will result in a better outcome.
A person who hears voices or has other symptoms needs to consult with a doctor to rule out or confirm any other medication condition that might be causing the symptoms. Various illness have symptoms in common with schizophrenia.
I urge you to monitor what goes on and if it gets worse or interferes with your daily living I recommend you get an immediate consultation with a doctor.
I would like it and I'm sure you would like it if the worst is behind you. Hopefully it is. You are not alone. You are not crazy. I've gotten similar questions like yours in the 7 years I've been the Health Guide here.
I wish you all the best.
