Q: is schizophrenia can be viral???

Hello,
E. Fuller Torrey who is well-known in the field believes schizophrenia might be cause by a cat virus and there are theories that a virus like influenza could affect the fetus and cause schizophrenia later in life.
These are theories and have not been proven.

What an interesting question. I don't think sz is viral. But like a virus there is no cure.
My sz was (and this is my own theory) that is caused by genetics, abuse and street drugs.
