You'll have to ask a psychiatrist about this.

You don't way what the testing is for.  Do you mean a random drug test at work?  Do you mean can your doctor detect whether or not you are taking your Risperdal?

I would say the med is detectable in either event, but in a drug test at work, they are not looking for Risperdal.  Even if they did ask questions, all you have to do is show them the prescription with your name and your doctor's name on it.  They just want to know if you are taking drugs that are not yours or street drugs.

If you are afraid your doctor is going to test you to see if you are really taking it, I'm sure he could do that.  I used to have antidepressant and lithium tests done regularly to see how much was in my bloodstream.

If you fear that your workplace might guess from the Risperdal that you have a mental illness, as I said, they are not testing for Risperdal so they are not going to find any.

Best wishes,

Carolyn
