Hi Marlin
It's an interesting question. I haven't come across any reasons why people/children on antipsychotic meds shouldn't take the vaccine, but I guess this is something to confirm with the doctor. When I worked in the health service I was certainly familiar with some adults being given flu jabs. From the news reports it does seem that children are more vulnerable to swine flu and more likely to be hospitalized as a result, so I think you're wise to take precautions. When you find out it would be very helpful if you could post the advice you were given.
