Hello ally,

When I tried to answer you earlier this week there was a quirk with accessing the Ask Feature.  I am sorry for the delay.

The pharmacist told me that when the Rispderal is stopped, the cholesterol level can go back down.

At this point, I will tell you that if you have SZ, some form of anti-psychotic is necessary.

So if you're concerned about your cholesterol, work with your psychiatrist.  There are other atypicals and traditional neuroleptics on the market that might not cause this problem for you.

Regards,

Christina
