Hello Carla,   I haven't heard that it is usual for people with schizophrenia to have homocidal thoughts.  Are you the same Carla I responded to one minute ago about the side effects of the drugs, ro do you just happen to have the same first name?   Your son will need to be in treatment with an experienced, empathetic professional who is not turned off by this symptoms.   The truth is, I believe it's rare for someone with schizophrenia to have homocidal thoughts.  More likely, the person believes he is being persecuted and that people are out to get him, not that he wants to harm other people.   Respectfully, Chri
