HI Mimi,   It could possibly be the schizophrenia, it could maybe be part of your nature.   The bottom line is, to ask yourself if it impairs your functioning or if it troubles you, because either way, you want to bring it to the attention of your psychiatrist because you say it lasts "for hours," and that implies you're shut down.   Again, please refrain from worrying about whether or not you have schizophrenia.  The quicker you reconcile this truth, the easier it will be to recover.   Respectfully, cb
