Hello mump,   Here's the side effect of abruptly stopping any anti-psychotic drug, such as Seroquel:   You get sick again, possibly psychotic, and wind up in the hospital or else not doing well at all.  Five people I know who discontinued their medication in the last five years, all had psychotic episodes.  One person still refuses to take meds, and he can barely function and is a shell of his former self.   The bottom line is, people with a diagnosis of schizophrenia need to be on medication.   If you are experiencing side effects of any kind, from the Seroquel, discuss this with your doctor.   Please, I don't want to see you wind up delusional again.  I don't want you to get sick, so please consider your actions carefully.   Respectfully, cb
