Christina (and others) are there any promising new antipsychotics in the works? I am allergic to Latuda, the only antipsychotic I really liked, so I may have to find something new. I have tried so many already that left me a zombie, which Latuda does not.

I'm sorry, Donna, Latuda is the newest drug on the market. The others, which work on glutamate, are only in the pipeline. I remember you tried Saphris already, and that came out before Latuda. Fanapt is only for cases where the first drugs don't work, because it can cause sudden death if memory serves. I wrote two or three SharePosts about this time last year about the SZ medications, and I seem to remember I posted that Fanapt can cause sudden death. Yes, I re-read what I wrote and this is true. It also effects the QT prolongation.
