I do know that reading a good book is very satisfying, it is just sometimes hard to gauge what is worth buying or not. And it seems the books I would check out at the library are always already checked out or are at another branch or are reference books that have to stay on the shelf. I usually buy "used" books from Amazon.com -- some even allow you to read the first few pages. And if I can read a few pages, I can tell whether or not to buy it. And doing something good for someone, that helps bring a satisfying close to the day. Carolyn
