The experimental schizophrenia drug lurasidone improved symptoms significantly better than a placebo in a late-stage clinical trial. A six-week study of 478 patients found that the drug helped users improve their scores in the Positive and Negative Syndrome Scale, as well as the Clinical Global Impressions Severity scale, the drugmaker said.
