Scientists have found that exercise--both mental and physical--may improve symptoms of schizophrenia. Researchers gave a mouse with schizophrenia-like symptoms interesting items to see, smell, and touch and the opportunity to exercise. After this mental and physical 'workout,' the mouse showed fewer symptoms of its condition and improvement in a chemical pathway in its brain. Read more »
