Update: Girl with schizophrenia suffers serious setback

Previously, SchizophreniaConnection.com readers were introduced to January Schofield, a six-year-old girl with child-onset schizophrenia. In this update, the health reporter revisits the Schofield family and finds that the little girl has made some progress since the first article's publication. But she has also suffered a serious setback as her family has been forced to return her to inpatient care and change her medications to one that could have serious side effects.
