    Experimental schizophrenia med may help cognition

    An experimental medication called BL-1020 may help improve cognition in schizophrenia patients, a new study suggests. The Phase 2 clinical trial suggests that BL-1020 improves patients' memory, verbal abilities and the ability to learn and carry out daily tasks. Drugmaker BiolineRX says they will continue to study the medication and will attempt to gain FDA approval for the drug.  Read full story >
