New Screening Guidelines Aren't Cause for Panic

I am angry about these new guidelines to tell you the truth.  I finally got on a roll of having these things done annually and now they tell us we don't have to.  Perhaps the answer is to have better and more reliable screenings. 

 

I liked having the annual screenings because quite frankly...it makes it easy to remember to do so. If they make them every two years or more...people won't make the appointment...who is going to remember? 

 

And too...docs need a baseline especially with mammograms to detect changes over time. 

 

Well...I don't understand these new guidelines so I am going to try to stick with my annual screenings.  I just hope my insurance will pay for it now.
