I would like to tell you that I woke up in recovery from my hysterectomy feeling fantastic but that would be a lie. I was in pain! It was rough the first day but by the second I was up and walking around. My hysterectomy was done abdominally so I had a incision much like you would have after a c-sect...

I know there are so many women who have this surgery but it simply isn't discussed. So I am so glad that you are so honest and forthcoming about what it really is like. So will this take away the pain of endometriosis once and for all?
I absolutely want to know how you are dealing with this emotionally and...the things I would like to know are:
1. What about sexual activity after a hysterectomy? How soon after can you resume relations? Does it change things at all?
2. Does this affect your mood? Will you take hormones?
I truly hope that this will put an end to your pain so you can live your life again. You have been through so much!
