I can't conceive of any other method than one.

I know how serious a subject this is for many desperate to have a child, I'll say no more except to agree that the human body is built to generally work as advertised without the intervention of turkey basters, hanging upside down or charlatans, well meaning groups and friends. There is something, apparently, to be said for fertility specialists given a recent birth of eight at once.

doggy fashion worked for us, with me remaining on my hands and knees for 15 minutes after his orgasm, with my butt in the air and my head on the bed, creating a downstream path for all those squiggly things to swim. As I said, it worked first time, when nothing else did.

I suppose we humans will try anything when nature does not take its course.  If not we will certainly recommend  it to others.

 

Considering the cost of in vitro,  no wonder.  My son and his wife have tried to have children for several year and have finally turned to adoption, however this is also a costly undertaking.
