a couple of days ago something down there hurt so badly i couldn't sit or move my torso without sharp pain, and i couldn't #2 at all. i thought i was constipated. but then when i checked to see if it was in my vagina, i found the lump. it's at least 3 inches deep. i thought it was perhaps a cyst but it's hard and there's white discharge around it. i scheduled an appointment with my doctor this week, but i was hoping to get an estimated answer or something to prepare me. could it still be a cyst that's just hardened over time? cysts shouldn't be painful, though, right?
Hi
Hoping you can advice on what this might be - yesterday I found a small lump on the skin outside my vagina. It is among the hair, but even so on the surface you can't really see anything just a bit of redness. Only when you press down can you feel a pea sized lump. Could this be an in-growing hair? I have had these in the past, but only very early stage ones which appear as a spot/blister. This morning it feels as though it has gone down a little but I'm still concerned as to what it might be!! Any thoughts much appreciated...
Thanks.
For writing this. There are a lot of questions dealing with these and it is nice to have something so well written to guide people toward. I know it will be used a lot and can help visitors make their minds up about seeing a doctor in protecting their health.
I am hopeful that this was helpful. We get so many questions about this topic so this is what inspired me to write about this. Thanks for your comment!
