By Amy Hendel, Health Guide Tuesday, August 19, 2008

I belive I suffer from PMDD. As a college student, I have struggled to operate the two weeks before each menstrual cycle. It is so hard for me to concentrate, speak, and even find motivation. I feel as though for two weeks out of each month I disappear from the world, only to wake up to the mess that my absence has caused.

I am relieved to finally put a name to this disorder and begin the first steps to treating it. I have seen commercials for Yaz, and am curious to try it. I hope it can help me and others like me live more normal lives.

I'm glad this information may have helped to put a name to your condition and absolutely look into the options available that can help to minimize these symptoms-it's a quality of life issue and you deserved a diagnosis and treatment.

Great Yaz advert.

I took it for a year as recommended by my gyno to control my PMDD, the result was I felt like I was PMSing for the whole year non-stop, I was very depressed and gained weight, all these sympthoms went away as soon as I stopped taking Yaz.

Maybe it works for others, but it totally ruined a year of my life and I'd much rather suffer PMDD and at least know the pain is natural and not induced by fake hormones.
