To ensure a safe delivery, you need to have steady care by a reputable obstetrician during your pregnancy, and then it seems that a vaginal delivery is a good choice, unless there are mitigating circumstances to dictate a cesarean or unless there is an emergency need for surgery. Once that occurs, VBAC is more than likely a safe option for your next delivery if, again, there are no complicating issues. Check with your doctor and be willing to discuss and investigate the safest delivery options for you and your baby
