Q: bleeding 3 years after ablation

I'm 48, had an Novasure endometrial ablation three years ago, and have never had ANY period since then. Loved it! Just yesterday, I had some pretty bad cramps in my lower pelvic area, and now I am having bleeding like a regular period. What's the deal? I had noticed a little pink staining occasionally the last few weeks, so I was already going to see my doctor, but now this. What do you think??

I'm not sure what the deal is - so going to your doctor for a discussion and  exam is right on target.  I believe you can still have periods after the procedure but why they started now I am not sure.  You can still get pregnant after this ablation - so make sure to use birth control.
