Q: I get very sick from my period, but I can't take birth control. Please help me.

Since I was 16 (I'm 21 now) I have gotten really sick from my period. I feel like I have the flu and get terrible headaches. All the good stuff. It happens every month. I have tried more than 4 birth control pills and stayed on them long enough to know they don't work for me. I have gotten all sorts of side effects, from bad leg cramps, to anxiety and depression. I have given up on birth control pills, but I don't want to give up on finding something that will help me feel better on my period. I get a headache 2-3 days before my period starts, which causes chills, muscle aches, stomach aches, nausea, and I sometimes vomit. My doctor gave me migraine medecine but that only helps with my headaches. I was wondering if anyone knew of a medicine, or something, that can help me feel a little better on my period. I just started taking calcium and magnesium by the way. Thank you so much.
