Saturday, June 04, 2011 strepdick asks

Q: I have strep throat and my boyfriend and I had unprotected sex. Now he has tiny white bubble/blister things on his penis head. Did I give him step dick? He is also uncircumsized if that plays factor..

I am on antibiotics now but he is not. We know that the incubation period of strep throat takes 4 days before you can feel the symptoms of strep. Can the strep bacteria be transmitted through oral sex from mouth to penis? Can it be spread by normal sex, vagina to penis? Can it be contracted from swallowing sperm/semen/cum? We have been exclusively intimate for 3 years, there is no chance of std, I also have just recently been tested and unsurprisingly my results were clean, so we are confident that these tiny white blister/bumps must have been caused by strep. However we are looking if anyone else has more knowledge on the strepcock strepdick perdickament.

Good play on words.  I personally have never heard of this ailment before though.

Please know that I am not a medical professional and cannot give you medical advice.

You probably already know what I am going to say.  If you are concerned about your boyfriend's symptoms you need to encourage him to see a doctor.  You say that you have been checked for STDs but has your boyfriend been checked?  Do the blisters itch or hurt?

Nobody here can say what is causing this symptom.  He really needs to be checked by a doctor.

Hope you figure out this mystery!
