Can HPV be transmitted through sex if using condoms?
There are no guarantees, even by the manufacturers of condoms. But it would be a lot less likely if a condom were used.
This was taken from Health Central's article on hpv:
"At unpredictable times, the virus begins multiplying again. It then goes through a period called shedding. During those times, the virus can be passed into bodily fluids and infect other people. Unfortunately, a third to half of the times shedding occurs without any symptoms at all."
What you are asking for, a guarantee that hpv cannot be passed, is impossible. I think.
