If you went to the doctor, what did he say it was?
Because if a doctor who actually sees it can't say what it is, it would be hard for anyone not seeing it at all, to know.
You can go to a dermatologist to identify and if you wish, arrange to have it removed. It may be a sebaceous cyst which is usually not harmful and it is not a pimple but filled with a protein called Keratin. But it may be something else, and only a doctor can diagnose this.
