Q: Uncircumsized

I have an issue, my boyfriend is uncircumsized. We are planning on having children together in the near future. Everytime we have had sex together, I always have complications and when I go to the OBGYN, she keeps telling me that I have bacterial vaginosis. This has happened 3 times since we been having unprotected sex together and I'm getting tired of taking flagyl pills. Even when he claims to have taken a shower prior to us having sex, i still develop bacterial vaginosis. How is it possible for us to have children, if I'm kind of afraid of having unprotected sex with him because I don't want to have bacterial vaginosis or take another flagyl pill.
