I'm not a doctor, and not sure where you are having the sharp, severe pain, but no matter where, I would seek the attention of a physician, to find out what is causing it and for relief of such pain. If you are still experiencing this, you should get to the doctor.
At the same time, they can exam these blisters, and be sure to tell them about the itching. You may have been exposed to an std, skin disease, or there is something causing a rash. They can test if need be, and treat you.
