Q: Can fish oil interrupt my menstrual cycle?

I started taking fish oil a few days ago and since have missed my usually on time menstrual cycle.  I have taken a pregnancy test and it came back negative.  Is the fish oil to blame?

That's a new one to me so I wonder if something else is going on.  I was incredibly regular over the years and yet once in a while my cycle would seem to re-set itself.  That's pretty normal. I would also review my exercise - some heavy bouts can delay onset;  I will see if there's any literature on fish oil and menstrual cycle and post it in a blog if there is.
