Q: Are there potential problems for conception after taking birth control pills?

I started taking birth control pills 9 years ago partially to lighten my period--I had an insanely heavy flow. Now, my husband and I are trying to get pregnant, and I have gone off the pill. It has been 2 cycles since I stopped taking the pill, but my periods are still fairly light. Will this affect my chances of getting pregnant? Will they ever go back to the way that they were before the pill, or did the pill \"fix\" the problem?

Your cycle should go back t normal but for some women it takes up to 4-6 cycles to go back to normal.  Be patient and "have fun trying in the interum." if you are menstruating then you are probably ovulating.
