And here is an article from the Mayo Clinic about PCOS, which will open to the Causes section. On the left are links to other parts of that article.
But at the end of that section they state:
"Researchers continue to explore possible causes of PCOS. Among topics of current research are whether low-grade inflammation and fetal exposure to excessive androgens might trigger the condition."
In the Definitions section, they state: "The exact cause of polycystic ovary syndrome is unknown."
So if there is any link to you in some way, none has been shown yet, apparently.
